Founder and Director
A graduate of the Israeli Hotel and Catering Industry, Mr. Berman has
a very broad and well-founded knowledge of the wine industry, and an
extensive range of contacts worldwide.
In South Africa, Mr. Berman held the position of Deputy General Manager of the Gold Reef City Hotel and Restaurant Complex, administered by the Southern Sun Hotel Group. In Israel, Mr. Berman was employed by Carmel Wineries, the largest wine producers and exporters in Israel, in various managerial capacities, ranging from Hospitality and Sales Manager, Import and Duty-Free Manager, and Export and Import Manager, in which capacity he was successful in increasing Carmel worldwide.
He also represented Israeli wineries for the Israeli Export Institute
from 2000 through 2002, and a member of the elite Chaine des Rotisseurs,
which unites professional and amateur gastronomes in a private, not-for-profit
society committed to promoting the culinary and hospitality arts and
enology through example, education and camaraderie.
Mr. Berman has garnered across-the-board experience in the international
and South African wine markets, as well as establishing a substantial
network of valuable contacts.
Leslie represented Carmel winery at various Major International Wine shows like Vin Expo Europe, America's and Asia. Prowein in Germany. International London Wine & Spirit Show, Kosher Fest in America and Euro Kosher in France.
